Mighty BE'HEMOTH Cited by God in Job 40 (Old Testament)

On jury duty one compares testimonies with physical evidences to reach a verdict. We do this in real life.

No modern animal -- only the dinosaurs, had those strange, massive, bony structures below their hips. This matches the Bible in the Old Testament book of Job 40:15: strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.

This was no understatement! Also, no large modern animal has a tail like a cedar (tree). Job was CONTEMPORARY with Behemoth (a huge dinosaur). Testimony and evidence agree.

God alone is Almighty!

God sent Noah’s flood to destroy all mankind and air breathing land animals. God put us Earthlings "ON-NOTICE!"

Here we have a dinosaur mentioned as contemporary with the man, Job, while God is talking to him -- but modern scientists say dinosaurs died out 65 million years ago, and man only evolved about 4 million years ago.

So, here is a terrible discrepancy -- either dinosaurs and man were contemporary, AND, the Earth/cosmos is quite young -- less than 10,000 years -- in complete agreement with the Biblical record, time frame, --

OR, the Bible is quite wrong. If so this casts considerable doubt on the entire book.

WARNING: Notes in many bibles mislead readers into thinking Behemoth is a modern animal like a Rhino, Hippo or Elephant.

But NO MODERN ANIMAL has the special hip structures dinosaurs had, that would give them special "force in the navel of his belly," NOR, do large modern animals have a "tail like a cedar (tree)!"

So, NO modern animal fits the description in Job 40.

Also, modern bibles or versions GARBLE the Job 40 passage. Both of these efforts are intended to hide the fact that the passage shows modern man and dinosaurs to be contemporary, calling into serious question the (phony) secular view (myth), that this world is billions of years old.

Thank heaven, also, for the "forgotten Bible" -- The Geneva Bible (1599) that was so popular with the American Pilgrims and with many Europeans too, of course.

In Job 40 the Geneva Bible reads:

10 Behold now Behemoth (whom I made with thee) which eateth grass as an ox.

11 Behold now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.

12 When he taketh pleasure, his tail is like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.

13 His bones are like staves of brass, and his small bones like staves of iron.

14 He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him, will make his sword to approach unto him.

15 Surely the mountains bring him forth grass, where all the beasts of the field play.

16 Lieth he under the trees in the covert of the reed and fens?

17 Can the trees cover him with their shadow? or can the willows of the river compass him about?

18 Behold, he spoileth the river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.

19 He taketh it with his eyes, and thrusteth his nose through whatsoever meeteth him.

The Bible is CORRECT! -- this world is young -- less than 10,000 years old.

True science confirms this. All "dating" methods involve questionable, unprovable, ASSUMPTIONS -- AND USUALLY these ASSUME the world to be OLD, TO BEGIN WITH.

When these are changed to reasonable assumptions, it turns out, the world is young. This accords with the Biblical record.

If one STARTS with the assumption that the human Bible writers really feared God, and were very careful in their reporting, then the available, PROVABLE, evidence DOES NOT CONTRADICT THE BIBLE CHRONOLOGY.

The Earth and Cosmos are about 6000 years old according to the Bible! This is found by adding up all the generations listed in the Bible. In many cases estimating is necessary. This could lead to estimates up to, perhaps, 8000 years! But there is no way one will get up to the 4.5 billion year age of the earth held by modern secular scientists.

There are many creationists who do hold genuine scientific credentials, and who do believe the Earth and cosmos are, indeed, young -- less than 10,000 years old.

Here we must make that critical, necessary, jury duty, comparison between testimonies that conflict with each other, and a very hard look the physical evidences.

The contemporary existence Behemoth and Job is stunning evidence the world is young, just like the entire bible says.

The Genesis Flood (of Noah and the Ark), primarily, explains the demise of the dinosaurs. Also, the world was very different after the Flood, with "rain," and "seasons" occurring for the first time in history.

Genesis 8:20-22 says:

And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. This information would be superfluous if God had not caused a significant change in climate.

Genesis 2:5-7 tells us Earth's watering system was very different before the Flood:

And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. These changes shed light on the demise of the dinosaurs.

It rained for the first time after the Flood!!!

Additionally, God added meat to the human diet -- God had specified a vegetarian diet before the Flood:

Genesis 1:29:

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

Compare this with -- Genesis 9:1-4:

And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.

Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.

The Dinosaurs may have made an easy target for hunters after the Flood.

Noah’s flood is God’s serious warning! To be saved Noah’s family had to get IN the Ark.

The Bible says, The LORD shut him in. Saint Peter notes in 1Peter 3:20-22, that in like manner, salvation must be found, only, IN Jesus Christ:

²⁰Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

²¹The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

²²Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

Saint John was closest to Jesus. He said, succinctly in 1 John 5: He that hath the Son, hath life, he that hath not the Son of God, hath not life. Like the Ark, we must find God’s way of salvation or perish eternally.

As the Genesis verse, above, says: And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; AND MAN BECAME A LIVING SOUL.

The eternal future of one's SOUL is of utmost concern.

Zillions of fossils are the unique evidence of Noah’s Flood. 90+ percent of all fossils are of marine organisms! Dead things always rot or get eaten by scavengers. They only fossilize under extremely unusual circumstances.

Sedimentary rocks are big rocks smashed into sand and cemented together. This too, was unique to the Flood. Something caused the rocks to bang together on a world-wide scale. The cementing agent must have been produced and distributed under the most unique conditions.

Massive coal, oil, and gas deposits are more stunning evidence. None of these things are happening today. The Bible matches the physical evidence, thus assuring us the Bible is historically reliable.
