If you just said, "The First Law," or "The Second Law," to an engineer
or scientist, you would NOT need to say anything further -- he or she would know exactly what you meant!
These thoroughly proved and never disproved LAWS do indeed hold the PREMIER position among all the laws of science.
As in many things, Darwinism or Evolution, made for a gigantic paradigm shift -- a gigantic tsunami of intellectual,
academic, foolishness and pollution.
Darwin published in 1859, but
it caught fire starting about 1870.
I use Jamieson, Fawcett, Browne commentary
(1870) because those commentator's brains were formed, PRE-DARWIN, and thus, relatively unpolluted by the mental tsunami
of insanity Darwinism launched.
Likewise with these premier science
laws, the 1st & 2nd Laws of Thermodynamics were straightforward originally, but are made complicated today.
I believe deliberately so to combat Creationism.
But common sense really
can prevail, as these Laws are what we see all around us in everyday experience.
Wikipedia says, "In about 1797, Benjamin Thompson showed that mechanical action can generate indefinitely large amounts of heat, so challenging the caloric theory. The historically
first established thermodynamic principle which eventually became the second law of thermodynamics was formulated by Sadi Carnot during 1824. By 1860, as formalized in the works of those such as Rudolf Clausius and William Thomson, two established principles of thermodynamics had evolved, the first principle and the second principle, later restated as
I will call this, as do others, Classical thermodynamics.
Recently, and I'm very sure to combat Creationism, these Laws have been made much more intellectually complicated.
Again, I'm sure this is to stymie this powerful Creationist argument.
In classical Thermodynamics the FIRST LAW says:
be Created nor Destroyed.
The SECOND LAW says:
Entropy Increases. (energy not available for work, loss of information, randomness)
As the space shuttle leaves the ground it has all the fuel it will ever have, no more can be added.
As it uses its fuel, most of the energy in the fuel is used to do "work" in lifting the shuttle into
The rest of the energy in the fuel is lost forever as waste
heat -- this is what the Second Law means by entropy.
The First Law tells us
the energy is NOT created nor destroyed - it will always exist.
But the Second
Law tells us that our ability to use that, waste heat, energy is GONE FOREVER. You can't put the genie back in the bottle!
If there were some way to reuse the potential energy of the shuttle's position in its decent back to earth, like
a hybrid car recovers the moving car's energy by recharging the battery during deceleration --
But in the case of the shuttle, there is no way, so All of the energy in the fuel will become, unrecoverable waste
heat -- its usefulness GONE FOREVER!
On a bigger scale all the stars are exhausting
their fuel supplies and will eventually go out, go dark, having used up all their fuel.
The mighty Creator God MUST EXIST, AND MUST have fueled them all up in his mighty act of SPECIAL CREATION.
The entropy process is irreversible.
This is why these grand laws PROVE
Special Creation and the Creator's certain existence.
I use the word "PROVE."
-- Technically we have not sent space probes to the farthest reaches of space to see if science laws operate the same there.
So, there is an element of faith that God made his science laws uniform throughout the Universe.
These are LAWS in our own everyday experience, everywhere we look.
see the effects of the Second law everywhere we look.
wear out, run down, rot, rust, get old. Never do things go the other way, in nature.
Ten million is the low estimate for species of organisms on earth, One hundred million is the high estimate.
That means, that many genetic codes in the millions or billions of letters.
is important to realise a code is an ENCODE PLUS A DECODE!
It is possible in
coded systems to have an identical ENCODE decoding into different meanings, because the paired DECODE is different.
So don't be fooled by the phony argument that genetic codes are similar.
we see everything around us wearing out, running down, rusting, rotting, getting old --
Are we really to imagine these millions of intricate coded information systems came about by the random chance of
Darwinism or Evolution?
We must remember that living things already have sophisticated
systems to turn energy into food, or growth, etc.
But, the chemical soup, or
whatever it was, where life is imagined to have first started, would certainly not have these.
The Laws of Thermodynamics would rule!
